This year Money Expo 2007 will be held from May 10-13 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre. The expo has almost exhibitors from various government agencies, banks and other financial institutions. The event is organized by Money & Banking Magazine and the Stock Exchange of Thailand. The theme for this year’s expo is “The Colors of Life” and is centered around the idea of “sufficient money, sufficient life.”Over 60,000 visitors are expected to come to the Money Expo in search of loan packages, financial advice and investment opportunities.
The venue will be seperated into three zones:
- Financial Service/Money Product Zone (Plenary Hall 1-3) – this area will focus on credit cards, personal credit, loans for homes, SMEs and cars, life insurance/assurance and saving products.
- Investment Zone (Ballroom, Hall A, Plaza, Meeting Room 1-4) – this area will house capital market services including SET, Bond Electronic Exchange, Thailand Futures Exchange, Agricultural Exchange of Thailand and Government Pension Fund. Seminars on financial management and investment will be held.
- SME & Shopping Zone (Zone C) – this zone will showcase household products and OTOP (OneTambon One Product) items as well as a business start-up ‘clinic’ and consumer credit form non-bank institutions.
Expo visitors will have the opportunity to donate 40 baht. As a gift, donors will receive a SET pocket book. The proceeds will benefit Duang Prateep Foundation, Phayathai Babies’ Home Foundation, Distance Learning Foundation and Baan Nokkamin Foundation.

The MRT (subway) is the most convenient way to reach Queen Sirikit Centre and you won’t even have to worry about parking. From the BTS, make a connection to the MRT at Asok or Sal Daeng. Once on the MRT, exit Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre.
